And on a close listening, I wonder if I don't hear the tiniest American twang in a vowel or two. Perhaps the voice of an Aussie who lives in the US? Or an American with a voice coach?
Edit 2: Hmmm... I don't know. The pronunciation of the minor vowels in less prominent places, and the pronunciation of 'outback' seem just a little off.
I'd also grumble about the 'song' of the spoken paragraph, (the way the musical tone of the sentence goes up and down, the way the length of individual phonemes in words is modulated, stressed and stretched) but, since it is an ad, this has been consciously composed. How to trap a platypus (audio)
