The other answers work only on a rooted phone. I have an answer that does not require a rooted phone, but you have to set it up again each time you get on a new wifi network for the first time.

The answer is, use the app FilterProxy. This sets up a proxy server on your device, and gives you options to block websites in that server. Then you must go to network settings and long-click on your network until you get the "modify network config" option. Choose it, choose advanced settings, and set the proxy to the url 127.0.0.1 (the device itself) and type the port that you set FilterProxy on (8000 by default). An app called "Proxy Settings" can ease this task (although it's possible that this app will stop working on android 6; the app gives a link to star that bug in the android bug tracker, to encourage Google to change their mind about that.)

Be careful what you click when on a phone. That is why I normally use a computer to surf the web. I’d rather use my mouse or laptop pointer than tap links with my finger and enter forms one character at a time. I’d rather use all my fingers to type. If you are using wifi then login to your router’s setting page with user name and password provided. Then go to access control method, specify your website as target, add your phone’s mac address as host, add a rule to block the host’s access to target, then enable the rule.

But if you are using mobile data then you need to be persistent in your action. You can install any high rated parental control app from play store, there are many to choose from. Then, Add a rule to block that website. But as I said, you have to be persistent in your action as removing parental control just by opening the app may be easier.

1. Go to Settings > General > Restrictions.
2. Tap on Enable Restrictions. Now set a passcode for restrictions. This should ideally be different from the passcode you use to unlock the phone.
3. After the passcode is set, scroll down and tap Websites. Here you can either choose to limit adult content, or allow access to specific websites only.
4. In specific websites only, there's a short list of allowed websites including Discovery Kids and Disney, but you can also add sites by tapping on Add a Website.
5. If you tap Limit adult content, Apple blocks websites that are deemed objectionable, but you can whitelist websites by tapping on Add a Website under Always Allow, or blacklist them by tapping on it under Never Allow.

5. Select Blocked List and tap Add. Now add the websites you want to block one at a time.
