How many companies 500 Startups interviews for each batch?

I don't know the exact number, but it's not hard to get the order of magnitude. If there are 30-35 companies per batch and there are 3-5 companies per space worth interviewing (many more don't pass AngelList and pitch-desk phases) then it might be 100-150 interviews. If more that one interview per company is needed then the number is higher.

As of this writing, for batch 15, we fielded 1400+ applications, interviewed 200+ companies and made offers to 40+.  This changes from batch to batch, though, and generally skews more competitive at each stage as the years go by.

usually about 100-120 or so make the cut for Skype or in-person interviews.
