How many porn stars are there in the world?

This question has been asked a few times, and there’s no accurate way of answering. For starters yes you have the big time entertainers that many of us know with little hesitation, those are fairly easy to count. But then you also have the up and coming entertainers. Some of them strike it big and some fall short. Some have even changed their name and tried to reinvent themselves, a few even have different spellings of their name. For example Misty Stone is also known as Misty Stone, Jenny Stone, and Oprah. They’re fairly easy to count twice or even more because of this.
You also get the entertainers who appear without name. We see this all the time with titles like Blonde take big dick, Cheerleader please Coach Bobby, and so on. No idea who Blonde or Cheerleader are, but what’s to say that’s their only video or that they didn’t reinvent them self under another name?
Then of course you have the amateur content. I was a huge fan of an amateur entertainer who went by Enticing Sasha. She’s recently cut her hair, moved into a new apartment and opened a new website and is now known as Blair Waters. And truth be told, it took me a while to notice that Sasha was now Blair.
And I won’t even mention the few entertainers who’ve had sex changes. Steven is now known as Michelle and you’d probably never even think that they are the same person.

My point is that you can attempt to count them all, but you’d very likely fail miserably. With all the on-screen name changes and transformations, you’d very easily count a single person multiple times and not even notice it.
