Yes there are, Qi is already experimentally proved. Precisely said, its effects on our bodies are already scientifically proven. There is enough evidence about existence of Qi.
Nevertheless, the direct proof of substance causing all effect is still missing. It is like with gravity: we do have Newton's gravity law and Einstein’s General Relativity but ther is no prove of existence of graviton representing the field itself.
Why am I answering this question? I am a mathematician and physicist by training, work in biomedical research, and practice energetic exercises for many years within Qigong and Taijiquan.
Additionally, I was living with the failing heart for over 30 years and Qi was saving my life and making it more easy for most of this time. I do know what Qi is capable of.
It is worth to mention that I do have an ability to observe ‘visually’ and to fell Qi without use of any external device and experiment. It really exist. Aboundance of Qi leads to proliferation of life and its lack leads to the death of organisms.
- One of Qi proofs is based on CT scans after the application of radioactive substance.[1] [2] After it, the Qi channels (meridians) and acupuncture points are easily visualized in this way.
- This approach only visualize them. It is not providing the explanation how they operate and what is their cause.
- Another proof of Qi is based on infrared observations of external Qi clearly depicting the effects of Qi.[3]
- This source might be a good starting point: TO PROVE THAT QI IS REAL AND QIGONG NOT A FAKE HEALING ART.[4]
- Actually, everybody can Google “scientific proof Qi” and it's variants and find more information.
The situation with Qi is exactly same as with gravity. We do know that it is existing, we can visualize it experimentally but we do not have a tiniest clue what is causing gravity. Nobody doubts about existence of gravity despite of lack of gravitons.
Want to know even more, try Qigong, Taijiquan, or other art improving Qi alias (Ki, Prana, Pneuma, Mana, …) yourself and you can reach the first hand knowledge. As a great side effect of those exercises, one can reach a perfect health.
