What are some alternatives to library.nu?

Library.nu was known as the biggest academic public library on the internet. It was shut down by court order on Feb. 15, 2012, because it was accused of copyright infringement. What are some current alternatives to Library.nu?

http://btdb.in/ is a search engine for bittorrent distributed hash table, being sort of a meta-search engine covering a lot of stuff that's not indexed by Google or larger torrent trackers like Pirate Bay or Demonoid. A lot of books can be found in huge e-book bundles.

Edit (August 2016): replaced btdigg with btdb, as btdigg seems to be down for more than a month or two, and btdb came in its place.

I think that domain has been revoked.
I'm not sure what reader you use. If you have a Kindle, it seems to be much harder to find .mobi files and really difficult to find .azw files.
.epub and .lit are fairly easy to locate, however. Demonoid.me has plenty. If you click Torrents, and then use the drop down boxes to narrow your search to "books" you can do fairly well.
There is a free conversion here: http://ebook.online-convert.com/...
It will convert back and forth between .lit, .mobi, .epub, .pdf, and a few others. (The link I gave you takes you to the page for converting TO .mobi, for use on a Kindle.)
