Bryan is fabulous as a conversation partner both on issues where you agree with him and where you remain unconvinced. As many have said, he is both approachable and kind as well as willing to blow massive holes in your a priori beliefs on an issue while making you want to thank him for pointing it out the flaw. I get a tremendously positive feeling listening to him talk about any number of interests that he has taken the time to cultivate, and consider him a wonderful member of any lunch group and a distinctive and inspiring professor at the front of a classroom.
