People are more likely to trust influencers than ads. Twitter even provides with stats like “Nearly 40% of Twitter users say they’ve made a purchase as a direct result of a Tweet from an influencer.” – Twitter

Influencers seem to be more trustworthy - if you know who to follow and who has not sold their soul to some brands and business. Also, valuable people know what they say and show, so in fear of losing their personal branding and reputation they wouldn’t recommend something that doesn’t meet their requirements and standard.

Of course, there are a lot of influencers and micro influencers who try pushy selling, but real influencers have real impact - and this is going to be a trend in 2017, too.

It will be evolving very fast. I believe in a huge potential of influencer marketing and I see how quick companies understand how promising it is.

As some of answer here mentioned it already, there is no space for classic ads. People just do not believe them anymore. They are extremely resistant to messages sent directly by companies. As indicated by the Nielsen: 90% of consumers trust peer recommendations. Only 33% trust ads. Also, Daniel Newman claims that: traditional advertising does not work anymore. People have not stopped buying things, but how and why they buy those things have changed (this one is particularly evident among the millennials).

So let’s take a look how does it affect influencer marketing.

As indicated in the TapInfluence report: 84% of marketers are planning an influencer marketing campaign in 2017. This means that after several years of momentum, influencer marketing has finally gained impetus. Marketers not only appreciate it as a phenomenon but realistically implement it in their strategies. The report points also that customers will need confirmation that it's actually affecting their bottom line. Sales lift will be (and already is) critical to justify bigger budgets for influencer marketing.

Influencer marketing it is not just bragging out loud about brands and their product to build its recognizability. It will bring leads and money as regular branch of marketing use to do.

Each year we can observe new trends and. How fast will company grow depends on its ability to learn and absorb. Influencer marketing is one of the most important that we should all consider in our future strategies.
