I do not know who asked this, but for getting to know more about who I am -- as it seems this mysterious question must refer to me -- I'd recommend checking my answers here, of course, the tweets on my not recently used Twitter account and my homepage
KjellPettersson.com for starters. I hardly use Facebook and once deleted my account there after a period of actually attempting to find it interesting, but failing to. There are more, but these would be a good starting point and will include references to the rest of the places where I am active. Or not, as the case may be.
Being "private":
Should the person who asked this want to know more about me as in details about my private life, I suggest getting in touch with me and asking me about what they may want to know. If the questions are reasonable and adequate, I may very well answer them when I know who it is who is asking them. The above sources, or any online venues where I publish anything, do not contain much of the more private kind on private Kjell. I am not that interested in talking with others about mere ephemera. My motivation for online participation just is not to socialize. Nor do I know how to!
That is, I am not "private" by principle, but since I am not interested in sharing photos of my food or my friends or similar activities which mainly are about sharing social data. However, some personal information can be found in a few answers here on Quora, for instance those that relate to Asperger and ADD, which are two diagnoses that I have.
Neuropsychiatric diagnoses:
Probably the Asperger thing is related to my lack of interest in socializing, by the way. Probably also related to this diagnosis is that I am considered to be a fairly intelligent fellow, which is not uncommon with us Aspies. Though relatively recently diagnosed, they have added an important perspective to who I am. For this reason they have become important tools for me in my self-understanding, and in understanding "normals" too, come think of it. Self-examination and self-understanding have always been very important themes to me, which may very well have to do with an experience of being different, yet not really knowing what the difference is based on.
Hard facts:
Anyhow, a few hard facts can be given. I live in Stockholm, Sweden. My professional experience includes being the head of administration in a consult firm in B2B-telecom solutions, technical consultant for a gaming company, being in charge of an antiquities show room and writing for a magazine. My current trajectory is primarily based upon the latest. I have been doing a small amount of mentoring, which is interesting and fulfilling and which I may expand and do more of.
Miscellanea:
- I am devoted to friends and family but, as noted above, do not include that in my online life at all.
- I have some Sami ancestry. And if you do not know what Sami means, check this page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sam... - My present main interest is astrological research and the Hellenistic culture, especially Pythagoras and Plato, though I am branching into Babylonian astronomy at the very moment.
- It may perhaps also be relevant to mention that my name, Kjell, is an old Scandinavian one and explain that it is pronounced more or less "chel". Like the latter part of the French name Michel. "Me, Kjell" is quite close to "Michel". It is etymologically related to the word "helmet".
If you want to know more, get in touch! (Or add a comment to this answer.) And if I remember something not completely untrivial later on, I'll update this answer.

P.S.
It took less than a minute, but I could also mention that I am currently not in a relationship. However, I am not looking for one, and would in particular not do that online, nor would I not consider leaving Sweden for that reason.

Perhaps I should also mention that Quora had the kindness to name me one of their Top Writers a few weeks ago, December 2013, which of course was a pleasant Christmas surprise.

Regarding A2A (Ask to answer): I try to answer questions if they are within my areas of expertise or interest, but if I have nothing to add to what others have already written I will probably decline. I practically always decline if the request is anonymous.
