Yes. If I published under the name Orson Scott, leaving off the Card, that's an alias, a DBA, or a pen name, because it is not my legal identity.

Since, in my days of employment, I always was that person, I never had to cope with him, apart from my ongoing program of trying to say less than a quarter of what I think of.
